 Sheridan's Davis Campus in Brampton is home to approximately 4,500 students. Located at Steeles and McLaughlin Road, close to downtown Brampton, the Davis Campus features a wide assortment of programs.
This 5-storey, 354-bed residence located in Brampton overlooks a ravine at campus's east end. The 191,420 square foot floor plan has an “L” shape with slightly angled corridors that enhance interior intimacy. The fire stairs protrude from the façade and the window surround treatments have varying rhythms to provide visual interest.
Each suite has two private bedrooms, shared kitchen and washroom facilities, and high-quality finishes that allow the  College to transform the residence into a hotel during summer months. Each floor has two lounges to encourage student interaction, provide corridors of light and make the most of the ravine setting.
The residence, completed in September of 2001 has an approximate construction budget of C$13 million.
Clare, Randall-Smith & Associates Limited was retained to provide mechanical and electrical costing services throughout is design. |
